The novel that I read was
The Handmaid's Tale, written
by Margaret Atwood. Since the novel dealt a lot with women inequality, I had
decided that I would do my question on identity and physical appearance. In
addition, I was always interested to know why looks can play a big role in a
person's life, and wondered if last impression is last impression. Therefore,
my inquiry question is: "How much does physical appearance impact on how
individuals are perceived by society?” I always wondered if first impression is last impression? Furthermore, in my presentation I will be talking about racial discrimination. For example, in New York many young black men are stopped by police, and interrogated. When I watched the you tube video it actually made me very sad.
