Invictus: "Inspirational" poem/song

The following poem above is a very inspirational poem written by Jackson Kiddard.  It taught me that I should always be hopeful in life and the poem is very prestigious. I remember, when I graduated from elementary school I was very nervous about starting high school. I was afraid about life, and I thought that if I do not get good grades in high school it will impact my future. However, while I was browsing through the internet I found this poem. I took a minute to read it and I actually felt much better about myself.  One part of the poem that really stands out to me is, " Anything you can't control is teaching you how to let go and trust the universe". This significant quotation explains that sometimes circumstances are not in your hands, and one just has to move on, and trust the world. Furthermore, sometimes when I get a work load of homework and I just worry about it and leave it for the last minute. When the assignment is due the next day I get very tensed and wonder will I be able to finish it. However, it rarely happens that I do not hand in an assignment on time. So most of the times the stuff that I worry about never even happens. In addition, the poem above has taught me many morals of life. For example, everything happens for a reason, and what ever happens, whether it is good or bad, is teaching you a lesson. I stand by these principals, and go with the flow. I think that what ever life throws at me, I will be able to get through it. Sometimes you just have to leave it to God, because he or she wants the best for you.
